There is a sustainable trend of increasing revenue from road tolls, stated Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov at a briefing in the Council of Ministers. Ivanov who presented data on the work of the National Toll Administration.

Ivanov explained that the revenue from the beginning of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, is BGN 1 million more. The Minister noted that this occurred in an environment of much freer movement, after the accession of the country to Schengen, and taking into account an exceptional lag that the Ministry’s new team found after taking office.
