Bulgarian Tourism Minister Miroslav Borshosh held a working meeting here on Thursday with Sebastian Ebel, CEO of the German multinational travel and tourism company TUI Group, and Thomas Ellerbeck, a member of the company’s Executive Committee, Borshosh's Ministry said in a press release on Thursday. The sides focused on increasing tourist flows to Bulgaria and developing joint initiatives to promote this objective.

Borshosh highlighted Bulgaria’s strong potential to attract tourists not only in summer and winter but throughout the year. "We are actively working with leading tour operators like TUI Group to broaden our offerings and establish Bulgaria as a preferred destination for diverse and high-quality tourism experiences. This meeting is another step in our efforts to build a sustainable and competitive tourism sector," he said.

As part of its strategy to offer a wide range of destinations to its clients, TUI Group’s management expressed great interest in promoting Bulgaria’s ski tourism through its channels. The discussions also emphasized year-round tourism, including spa and wellness, urban, and cultural tourism, which complement the country’s traditional summer and winter holiday options.
