Mountain hiking conditions are good on Thursday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) told BTA.

The weather is clear and sunny, with light wind in some places. Temperatures are between 0C to 6C - 7C.

The MRS recommends tourists to be careful as there may be icy areas on the slopes in winter resorts and on the trails in the mountains.

It will be sunny in the mountains. A light to moderate east-southeasterly wind will blow, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) said. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be about 13C, at 2,000 metres - about 7C.
