site.btaNATO Secretary General to Visit Bulgaria's Novo Selo Training Area on December 19

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will visit the Novo Selo training area in Southeastern Bulgaria on December 19, the Bulgarian Defence Ministry said in a press release Tuesday. Rutte is scheduled to meet with caretaker Defence Minister Atanas Zafirov and the Ministry's political and military leadership.

Rutte will get acquainted with the activity of the NATO Multinational Battlegroup, which is led by Italy and hosted by Bulgaria.

Rutte and Zapryanov will give statements to the media at Novo Selo, the press release reads.
