site.btaGERB Guarantees 100% Free Retrofitting of Residential Buildings, Says Plovdiv Mayor

One of the main questions that the residents of Plovdiv put before their Mayor and second-on-the-list GERB-UDF MP candidate, Kostadin Dimitrov, is to be provided again with the opportunity for free retrofitting of multifamily residential buildings, said the press centre of the coalition in Plovdiv on Thursday.

"In my daily meetings with citizens, they insist on having again the opportunity to have their homes retrofitted for free. This can only happen under a GERB government", Dimitrov said. 

Dimitrov recalled how difficult it was to start the first programme when he was mayor of Plovdiv's Trakia residential district. "The propaganda that they would lose their homes scared them at that time. However, now my fellow citizens have realised that they have lost their chance and are demanding free retrofitting again", he noted.

He added that GERB guarantees 100% free retrofitting of multi-family residential buildings, which is why it is important to have a regular government that will allow citizens the opportunity to renovate their homes to be more energy efficient. "My place as second on the Plovdiv list, right after GERB leader Boyko Borisov, is a guarantee that the important projects of Plovdiv will be implemented", Dimitrov concluded.
