The Open Buzludzha Festival, taking place here between August 8 and 11, brings together culture, history and nature in an unforgettable experience at the foot of Mount Buzludzha and the monument of the same name, said Architect Dora Ivanova, Chair of the Buzludzha Project Foundation. The event will include concerts, a 3D mapping show and a rich programme.
A number of well-known Bulgarian and foreign bands, including Wickeda, Kerana & Kosmonavtite, Cool Den, HAYES & Y, as well as more than 20 DJs will perform on three stages in the middle of nature.
Visitors of the event can attend themed parties or take part in a game entitled "Memories of the Future", which will help them to get a feel for the place and learn more about the festival's cause through ten different experiences.
The organizers provide free transportation and other amenities. A standout addition is the co-working area, a designated woodland area with internet and workspace that will be available Thursday morning through Sunday afternoon. The camping area will accommodate guests with their own tent or campervan. Tents are available for hire by prior reservation. Bathrooms, toilets and running water are available for campers.
Free parking is available for guests with their own car.
The Open Buzludzha Festival was first organized in 2021. Funds raised from the event support the preservation and opening of the Buzludzha Peak Monument to visitors and turning into a place for art, culture and history.
