Bulgaria Air continues to operate flights between Sofia and Tel Aviv, pursuing its mission as a national carrier to provide a safe travel option for its passengers in the complicated international environment following the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, Bulgaria Air’s press service said on Wednesday.
Following an official recommendation made by the authorities in Israel, Bulgaria Air's flights on the Sofia - Tel Aviv - Sofia route from August 9 to 13, 2024, will be moved to daylight hours. Flights are allowed to operate between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. UTC, which will lead to new schedule changes.

The flights have been rescheduled after the tickets had been issued, the national carrier noted. Passengers to and from Israel are advised to visit the official websites of the airline and Sofia Airport prior to the departure date of their flight for updated information.
Bulgaria Air said that in view of the fast-moving situation, the flight schedule may be subject to further change, adding that the adjustments will be announced in due time.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Bulgarian nationals to follow its recommendation against travel to Israel and Palestine issued on July 31.
