site.btaGERB Leader to MRF: We Will Not Support Second Government-Forming Mandate

The head of the GERB-UDF parliamentary group, Boyko Borissov, has declined in a letter to negotiate with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) regarding the second government-forming mandate, the GERB-UDF coalition's press service reported here on Wednesday.

Borissov's letter reads: "While we appreciate your efforts as a second political force to form a cabinet within the 50th National Assembly, the differences and opposition between the parliamentary groups do not offer the foundation necessary to form a stable government."

The GERB Chair said that he relies on political maturity in the upcoming election campaign as a prerequisite for forming a government in the next National Assembly.
