Truck traffic is intense at the border crossing checkpoints along the border with Romania on Thursday morning, Border Police said.

On the border with Romania at Ruse Danube Bridge and Vidin Danube Bridge, all traffic is intense, and there are many exiting trucks at Kardam and Oryahovo. Due to a breakdown of the ferry vessel servicing the Nikopol ferry crossing sailing to and from Romania has been suspended according to the established schedule.

Traffic is normal at all checkpoints along the border with Greece. Only cars and minibuses can pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

On the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all checkpoints. At Kalotina, construction works are being carried out, which require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganization of the traffic of the vehicles passing through. The temporary traffic organization before and in the area of the border crossing may extend the crossing time.

Traffic on the borders with Turkiye and North Macedonia is normal.
