The National Council of the "Yes Bulgaria” Movement adopted at its meeting on Sunday a mandate to participate in the ongoing renegotiation of the coalition agreement with the aim of building and expanding the coalition Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), the party's press centre said. 

The Council finds that the heavy electoral loss requires a serious and thorough effort to change and build on the work of the coalition, because only in this way can it be ensured that it can begin to win back the lost voters. The Council reaffirmed the decision of the MPs of “Yes Bulgaria”, within the joint parliamentary group of CC-DB, to be in opposition to the model of governance of GERB and MRF.

The National Council discussed the upcoming procedures for changes in the statutes and election of a new National Council, National Control Commission and chairman of the movement.

The mandate for participation in the renegotiation of the coalition agreement provides guarantees for upgrading and expansion in the following directions: mechanisms for collective decision-making and representation; preservation of the ideological identities of the formations in the coalition as a condition for expanding their common support; a unified and coherent communication policy, an honest dialogue with the electorate, the release said.
