On the eve of the European Parliament (EP) elections in Ireland, scheduled for June 7, few were the residents of Dublin who wished to speak about politics in front of BTA's camera. Off record, however, they shared that the main problems which motivate them to vote, are the high housing prices, the worsening public infrastructure, and migration. 

After dozens of refusals for a video interview, only one female resident of the Irish capital commented for BTA that she would never give up on voting. This is her way of showing respect and gratitude to the suffragettes who fought for her right to vote. Irish women acquired that right in 1922.

One of the main reasons for her to vote on Friday is her concern over the mass influx of immigrants. Despite supporting the idea for borders open to people, the lady admitted that the Irish tax payer has to support financially the refugees who come without clothes, accommodation and money.
