Continue the Change co-chair Kiril Petkov and former Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov represented the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) coalition at a meeting with Bulgarian expatriates in Turkiye on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Society of Bulgarian Turks Bulturk in Istanbul. “In the meetings we had, their desire for changes in Bulgaria made an impression… They do not feel well represented in the country's institutions,” Denkov told BTA.

Bulturk is one of about sixty civil organizations of people with roots from Bulgaria and the Balkans in Turkiye.

The Bulgarian politicians also talked with Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu.

Earlier, Petkov and Denkov held a meeting with the expatriate society BAL-GOC in the city of Bursa.
