site.bta186 Vote Buying Alerts In Total Submitted to Interior Ministry - Minister Stoyanov

The Interior Ministry has received a total of 186 alerts for election violations so far, caretaker Minister Kalin Stoyanov told the media here on Saturday.

As many as 74 pre-trial proceedings have been initiated, with the majority of them on the territory of Burgas Region and the Sofia Directorate of Interior, Stoyanov noted.

The Minister said that there is nothing new about the vote-buying schemes, adding that voters get offered financial incentives, including debt forgiveness.
