Blue Bulgaria leader Vili Lilkov, who is also the coalition's top-of-the-list candidate in Sofia's 23rd constituency and Vidin, said here on Thursday as quoted by his formation's press centre that if one knows history and follows more seriously what happened on the eve of World War II, one will find an absolute analogy with the behavior of Putin and Russia at the moment with that of Hitler and Stalin, respectively of Germany and the USSR. According to Lilkov, they have the same desire for a new world order, the same desire for domination and continuous provocations and attacks on the neighbours in search of a reason for Russia to invade them.

Lilkov added that "the over-task of the Bulgarian and Eastern European right" is to stay on the right side of the new Iron Curtain. He also gives the solutions behind which Blue Bulgaria stands: "The solution to guaranteeing our external security goes only through forming a strong allied defence capacity of Europe. Bulgaria must turn from a security consumer country into a security solution generator for itself and the region."
