"Bulgaria needs new faces in politics. We seek to enable ordinary people to have political representation," Party for Great Bulgaria (PGB) Chair Kamen Popov, who tops the party's candidate list for Multi-member Constituency No. 26 Sofia, told a news conference at the BTA National Press Club here on Wednesday.

"Bulgaria has turned into a political quagmire. Our key priorities are a radical change of the established situation. We enter the political stage to extend a hand to all people who refuse to go the polls because they do not see anybody worthy of their vote," Popov said.

He said that his party advocates zero tolerance of corruption and wants radical changes in healthcare, education and national security.

The PGB leading candidate in the Ruse Multi-member Constituency, lawyer Tatyana Lisichkova, said that Ruse's principal problems are environmental pollution, the heavy road traffic to the border crossing with Romania, and the lack of a motorway.

"Once transport connectivity is unavailable, the regional economy and tourism cannot possibly develop," she said.
