site.btaElection Campaign: Vazrazhdane Aims to Have MP from Razgrad
The leader of the nationalist Vazrazhdane party, Kostadin Kostadinov, said here Thursday that they aim to have an MP from Razgrad (Northeast Bulgaria) after the June 9 elections. “I believe that if we do our job well enough, we will gain the trust of the residents of the region,” he added at the BTA press club in the town.
He argued the country is in a very critical situation and surprising results are expected in the elections. "Vazrazhdane’s main goal [during the election campaign] will be to secure high voter turnout to prevent the bought, corporate and manipulated vote from once again determining the fate of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian people," Kostadinov said.
The party's candidate for MP from Razgrad Constituency, who is also a candidate for MEP, Kasim Sadik, pointed out that everywhere in the region they meet apathy from the voters.
