The goal of Vazrazhdane is to come at least second in the upcoming elections, and win four seats in Varna, leader Kostadin Kostadinov said on Wednesday in the seaside town. He said that Vazrazhdane is the only party which is carrying out a real election campaign because it wants as many Bulgarians as possible to vote. After the elections, the party is ready to propose a cabinet and talks will be held with all political forces except the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Kostadinov added. According to him, Vazrazhdane will set five conditions in order to conduct a dialogue - holding referendums on Bulgaria's membership in the euro area and NATO, lifting sanctions against Russia, ending military aid to Ukraine and guarantees that Bulgarian soldiers will not be sent there, and renegotiating the terms of Bulgaria’s EU membership.
The top candidate on the list in Varna Stanislav Stoyanov outline uncontrolled migration and finding a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine. Other important topics for him are the renegotiation of the Green Deal and the containment of the economic recession. Kostadinov added that after the rift in the fourth largest group in the European Parliament - Identity and Democracy, Vazrazhdane fully supports its strategic ally Alternative for Germany, with whom it will form a joint group in the future parliament.
