Bulgaria remains consistent and will continue to express its full support for the people of Ukraine, its independence and will actively participate in the process of its reconstruction, Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said at a meeting with Ukrainian Ambassador Olesya Ilashchuk and German Ambassador Irene Maria Plank. The Prime Minister received an invitation to participate in the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held in early June in Berlin, the government information services said on Monday.

Glavchev stressed that Bulgaria remains fully committed to providing assistance to Ukraine in a number of sectors and this is a clear expression of its solidarity with the people and government of Ukraine. Bulgaria is ready to actively assist Ukraine in its process of reconstruction, reform and modernization after the end of the Russian aggression.

The main goal of the Berlin Conference is to mobilize international support for the reconstruction, reform and modernization of Ukraine.
