Bulgaria's Emil Neykov made it to Final B of the men's single sculls event at the 2024 European Rowing Championships in Szeged. The news came on Saturday, a day after Desislava Angelova advanced to Final A in the women's single sculls.
Neykov came in fourth in the first semi-final on Saturday, clocking 7:44.31 min, which left him out of Final A. The semi-final race was won by three-time world champion and two-time European champion Oliver Zeidler of Germany on 7:27.84 min of rowing time.
The men's Final B is due on Sunday at 12:03 p.m. Bulgarian time. The women's Final A is scheduled for 3:54 p.m., also on Sunday.
