Sofia Hosts Crimea Platform's Second Black Sea Security Conference

The Second Black Sea Security Conference within the framework of the International Crimea Platform will take place at Sofia's Central Military Club on Monday, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said.

The event is co-organized by the Bulgarian and Ukrainian foreign and defence ministries in partnership with Ukraine’s Centre for Defence Strategies.

"Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine has dramatically undermined the security system in the region of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov and has impacted directly the security of Europe," the press release said. The participants in the conference will discuss the latest security developments in the Black Sea region, the consequences of Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, and further steps for building security in the region.

Implementing Ukraine's Peace Formula will be another important aspect of the discussion.
