up By Almost 70% as of July 1


Sofia, April 28 (BTA) Ц CEZ Electro Bulgaria has requested a 69.54 per cent raise of low voltage power supplies for domestic needs for the next regulatory period, 1.07.2020 - 30.06.2021. The company has also applied for a day tariff raise of 1.48 per cent. Application documents from energy sector companies have been published on the site of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC).

EVN Bulgaria Elektrosnabdyavane has requested a minimum raise of 0.01 per cent for the daily tariff and has not posted any request of a night tariff raise for household users.

Energo-Pro Sales want a 0.39 per cent increase of both day and night tariffs.

EWRC told BTA that the request of the energy companies will be discussed in June and then it will be decided whether Ц and what kind of Ц a change there will be in energy prices for the new regulatory period. The maximum increase of electricity prices as of July cannot exceed inflation, the Commission said. NV/BR
