Bulgarian snowboarders Tervel Zamfirov and Petar Gergyovski won silver and bronze respectively at the Men's Parallel Giant Slalom, part of the FIS Junior World Championships here on Friday.

Zamfirov's score of 53.01 points placed him second behind German representative Samuel Vojtasek, who won the event with 53.78 points.

Gergyovski better run at the small final meant that he won the bronze against another Bulgarian snowboarder, Kristian Georgiev.

The Parallel Slalom event is scheduled for later Saturday. Gergyovski won this event at the 2023 FIS Snowboard Junior World Championship in Bansko, leaving the silver for another Bulgarian, Alexander Krashniak, who is also competing in Lachtal.
