Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev yet again expressed the hope that a regular government will be formed within the 50th National Assembly, because that is the best option for the State. Glavchev commented on the topic during a visit to the village of Petrovo (Southern Bulgaria) in relation to a fire that crossed into Bulgaria from Greece, the Government Information Service reported Tuesday. 

Glavchev said that two French aircraft are expected to arrive later on Monday at Plovdiv Airport. They will join the efforts to extinguish the fire on Tuesday. Glavchev thanked France for the help, which he described as European solidarity.

Earlier on Monday, President Rumen Radev handed the There Is Such a People (TISP) parliamentary group the third cabinet-forming mandate. If they return this last exploratory mandate unfulfilled, snap parliamentary elections will have to be held.
