Parliament here on Wednesday heard a report on the activities of the Parliamentary Committee on Direct Participation of Citizens and Interaction with Civil Society for the May 2023 - December 2023 period. The report states that more than 56 complaints, petitions, citizens' initiatives and alerts, including repeated complaints with new details or expressing dissatisfaction with the competent institutions, have been received during the period.

The Committee has held nine meetings between May and December 2023. It participated in events and public hearings at the invitation of NGOs seeking assistance in resolving public problems, according to the report.
