The conditions for mountain hiking at high altitude are not very good due to the strong wind, the Mountain Rescue Service reported on Monday morning. The conditions for winter sports have improved, and all skiing installations at Bulgaria's mountain resorts are working.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology forecasts a cloudy Monday, with light showers in separate parts in the afternoon. The wind is moderate to strong, northwesterly. Highs vary from 10C at 1,200 m to 2C at 2,000 m.
