Bulgarian Defence Minister Todor Tagarev conferred here on Monday with Ukraine's Ambassador in Sofia Olesya Ilashchuk, Tagarev's Ministry said in a press release on Monday.

The two discussed the progress of implementation of the National Assembly resolutions and Council of Ministers decisions on the provision of military aid to Ukraine.

Opportunities for enhancing cooperation in security and defence, education and science, and in the defence industry, according to a Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the two countries' defence ministries, were also on the agenda.
