Four ministers will answer questions from MPs during Friday's question time in Parliament, according to the programme published on the National Assembly's website. They are Health Minister Hristo Hinkov, Economy and Industry Minister Bogdan Bogdanov, Environment and Water Minister Julian Popov and Regional Development and Public Works Minister Andrey Tsekov.

The sitting of the National Assembly starts at 9 am and the question time starts at 11 am.

On the agenda is the continuation of the first reading of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Bill. On Thursday, MPs began the discussion on the draft law, but did not finish it due to running out of plenary time. National Assembly Speaker Rosen Zhelyazkov announced that the debate would continue at another sitting.

The bill aims at securing the legal integration of the Bulgarian central bank in the Eurosystem upon the introduction of the euro as the country's currency. It is envisaged that the new BNB Act will enter into force on the day specified in the Decision of the Council of the European Union on Bulgaria's adoption of the euro.

If the BNB bill is not adopted, it will mean blocking Bulgaria's accession to the euro area, BNB Governor Dimitar Radev told parliament on Thursday.
