site.btaBotevgrad-Mezdra Road to Be Completed by End-2024

The Botevgrad - Mezdra road in northwestern Bulgaria will be completed in full by the end of 2024. In view of the last high-risk construction works on the site, which are expected to be completed in early February, the section could be opened to traffic to provide some relief, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Andrey Tsekov during question time in Parliament here on Friday. Work on the construction of road facilities will continue in the spring, the Minister added.

He said that the physical progress on the site is at about 65%, with a number of facilities completed as of June 2023, the financial progress is about 55% because payments follow the implementation with about two months delay.
