Conditions are good for hiking in the mountains, but it should be borne in mind that moderate to strong winds are blowing in the high parts, the Mountain Rescue Service reported on Thursday. 

In Vitosha and in the Balkan Mountains the weather is cloudy, on Borovets, Pamporovo and Bansko the weather is sunny. 

In the afternoon, the wind is expected to pick up and rain is expected to start falling, turning into snow. 

Temperatures in the resorts are positive - around 0C and up to 5C, the only exception is the area of Mount Botev. 

No incidents with tourists over the past 24 have been reported.
