July 2 (BTA) - Head of State Rumen Radev called on the Prosecution Service to release immediately the entire chat between him and businessman Plamen Bobokov, the President's press service informed on Thursday.

Earlier, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office published parts of a text communication between possibly a person with immunity and the defendant Plamen Bobokov. The excerpts were taken from a cell phone confiscated from the businessman.

In the waste smuggling case, Plamen Bobokov and his brother Atanas, former deputy environment and water minister Krassimir Zhivkov, former Pleven Regional Environment and Water Inspectorate director Gabriel Savov and businessmen Eygul Emin and Nikolai Mihovski have been charged with participating in an organized crime group and trading in influence. They were arrested late in May. Over the course of the investigation, the Specialized Prosecution Office published a series of chats between Plamen Bobokov and presidential secretary Plamen Ouzounov.

From the latest publications by the Prosecutor's Office it transpires that the messages were exchanged between Plamen Bobokov and a contact, saved as Prezident - Rumen Radev. According to the Prosecutor's Office, one of the messages sent by Bobokov reads: Hello from Monrovia! Senate voted yesterday our concession and Prista Port is officially concessionaire of the Port of Buchanan for the next 25 years! President George Weah would love to meet you! So, we need a serious appointment of ambassador to Nigeria with accreditations for Liberia! Good luck at the big forum in New York and thanks for your support! I've forwarded the contact information, if you need me, I'm available 24/7!

The published 2 out of 4 pictures of the communication between the two persons in question do not give information about the topics, they just prove that the conversations took place. The chats are dated June, September and December, 2019.

The selective release of separate messages from Plamen Bobokov to the President without the latter's replies creates a suspicion of something hidden, the President's Office said, adding that it is a matter of public interest that the Prosecutor's Office should publish the entire communication between the President and Plamen Bobokov.
