182 New COVID-19 Cases
in Bulgaria on

Sofia, July 4 (BTA) - There are 182 new coronavirus infections in Bulgaria on Saturday, according to the latest information published on the national coronavirus information platform. The information is valid as of 00:00 on Saturday and is for the past 24 hours.

The new infections were from 2,538 PCR tests.

The new cases add up to a total of 5,497 infections from the start of the pandemic. 2,366 of these are active cases, 2,892 are recoveries.

The new recoveries total 90.

A total of 450 patients are in hospital, including 29 in intensive care.

A total of 445 of the infections are among medical personnel, including 21 new cases.

The deaths with diagnozed COVID-19 total 239 for the entire pandemic, including 7 new deaths. Among the newly deceased is a Sofia ambulance service doctor of 42 who was diagnozed with COVID after resuscitating a critically ill coronavirus patient on the way to hospital. LN/
