The conditions for hiking in the mountains are excellent on Friday, the Mountain Rescue Service told BTA.

The weather is sunny and calm. There is moderate wind in the area of Mount Botev in the Balkan Mountains.

Lift facilities in mountain resorts are working. Mountain rescuers advise to bear in mind that in the morning the slopes are hard and icy.

There have been no incidents with tourists over the past twenty-four hours.

The weather will be mostly sunny in the mountains, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology weather forecast. A moderate westerly wind will blow. Temperatures will remain unchanged - the maximum at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 14C, and at 2,000 m - around 7C.
