site.btaTraditional Christmas Concert of Sofia Boys Choir to Take Place on Saturday

The traditional Christmas concert of the Sofia Boys Choir will take place on December 23 at the Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music. The the entrance is free, said the organizers.

After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the line-up is returning to its long-standing Christmas tradition. The concert, conducted by Prof. Adriana Blagoeva,  will consist of predominantly Bulgarian music, including Bulgarian carol songs, children's songs by Alexander Tekeliev, Hristo Nedyalkov, Petar Lyondev, as well as beloved international Christmas songs.

The Christmas cantata written especially for the choir by composer Atanas Atanasov will be performed for the first time.

Soprano Stefani Krasteva and percussionist Miroslav Dimov will perform solos  in the concert programme. Zornitsa Getova will play the piano.
