July 8 (BTA)- The prosecuting magistracy asked on Wednesday the supervision bodies to address the problem of violations of regulations concerning mountain lifts. The Supreme Administrative Prosecution Office reminded that a check had been assigned last year into compliance with the spatial development regulations, safe operation and technical supervision of all 120 chair and gondola lifts in this country. The check was assigned to the State Agency for Metrology and Technical Supervision and the National Construction Supervision Directorate.

The check established no violations in respect of 71 of the lifts. Construction and commissioning papers were missing for 49 lifts. Commissioning papers were missing for 43 lifts. Documents about the technical state of repair were missing in respect of 14 lifts. Four lifts were found in bad technical repair but they are not in operation.
