site.btaBulgargaz Proposes 7.69% Lower Natural Gas Price for January, M/M

Bulgargaz has proposed to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) that the natural gas price for January be BGN 80.77 MWh (excluding access, transmission, excise and VAT), the state-owned company said on Thursday. The proposed price is by 7.69% lower than in December.

The EWRC approved a natural gas price for December of 87.50 BGN/MWh.

At end-December, the EWRC should hold an open meeting to discuss the proposal. By January 1, the proposal will be updated by Bulgargaz and will enter into force after a decision of the EWRC.
