The two Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Chairmen, Delyan Peevski and Dzhevdet Chakarov, conferred with Turkiye's Ambassador in Sofia Mehmet Sait Uyanik, MRF said on its website on Wednesday.

According to the press release, the meeting discussed the good-neighbourly relations between Bulgaria and Turkiye, the geopolitical situation in Europe and the world, as well as the need for political stability in the region because of its key security importance. The two sides talked about deepening economic and business relations between Bulgaria and Turkiye and achieving more intensive trade and economic growth. The meeting also discussed bilateral cooperation to address the problems of dual citizens and the need to strengthen intercultural ties between Bulgaria and Turkiye.
