Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev was reluctant to comment the parliamentary debate on the proposed cabinet on Wednesday. “I have seen it before, nothing new has happened”, Glavchev told journalists after Parliament refused to back GERB-UDF’s Prime Minister-designate Rosen Zhelyazkov.

There are two more government-forming mandates, Glavchev said in response to a question about how long he expected to keep his prime ministerial post. “I am fulfilling my constitutional duties and I cannot predict how long it can continue”, he added.

Asked to comment an apparent rift in the ranks of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), he said he cannot comment the processes in a political party.
