In 2023, nearly 150,000 unemployed persons found work through the Employment Agency, said the Agency's head, Smilen Valov, on Monday, at the beginning of the 20th anniversary edition of the Employer of the Year forum. At the event, the Agency presented awards to outstanding employers with a contribution to the labour market.

“We supported over 45,000 people to become active on the labour market, nearly 13,000 were included in trainings,” Valov saod. He noted that unemployment has managed to remain at a low level. He also highlighted the support for people with disabilities who have managed to find work.

One of the important campaigns that Valov pointed out was aimed at young people, as well as the return of people who went to study abroad.
