Over BGN 221 Mln Under Recovery Plan to Be Invested in Retrofitting Administrative Buildings

Over BGN 221 million will be invested in retrofitting and implementing energy efficiency measures in administrative buildings in Bulgaria, the Regional Development and Public Works Ministry said in a press release on Saturday. The project will be funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Buildings of state and municipal administrations, district offices of the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection, district offices of the Interior Ministry, Agriculture and Food Ministry, Health Ministry, among others, will be renovated.

Projects for renovation of administrative buildings in 79 municipalities have been approved  - Plovdiv, Ruse, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Blagoevgrad, Varna, Dobrich, Shumen, Gabrovo, Yambol, Kardzhali, Kazanlak, Gotse Delchev, Razgrad, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Petrich, Sandanski, Karnobat, Dimitrovgrad, Kyustendil, Harmanli, Sozopol, Kresna, Chiprovtsi, Elena, Veliki Preslav, Madan, Batak, Byala Slatina, Tervel, Banite, Yakimovo, Popovo, Knezha, Elin Pelin, Topolovgrad, Miziya, Valchi Dol, Aksakovo, Nikola Kozlevo, Isperih, Antonovo, Bobov Dol, Avren, Rakitovo, Etropole, Belitsa, Tsarevo, Belene, Yakoruda, Momchilgrad, Ardino, Kostinbrod, Oryahovo, Dzhebel, Kameno, Primorsko, Slivnitsa, Brusartsi, Svoge, Gulyantsi, Saedinenie, Septemvri, Kotel, Pordim, Sopot, Kaspichan, Krumovgrad, Dzhebel, Simitli, Strumyani, Bolyarovo, Apriltsi, Opaka, Tvarditsa, Malko Tarnovo, Smyadovo, Kozloduy, and the building of Slatina borough in Sofia Municipality.

The projects for energy renovation of the buildings of the regional administrations in Plovdiv and Lovech, as well as of number of other state institutions, have also been approved.
