site.btaPM Denkov: Draft Budget is Well Balanced, it Will Be Adopted on Time, with Minimal Adjustments
At the start of an extraordinary Council of Ministers meeting on Friday, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov said that he feels calm, because the draft state budget for 2024 is very well prepared and balanced. "After its discussion in the National Assembly, perhaps with minimal corrections, it will be adopted on time and will come into effect on January 1, 2024." he said.
The Council of Ministers' extraordinary sitting was scheduled to review and adopt the projects for the state budget and for the budgets of the State Social Insurance and the National Health Insurance Fund for 2024.
