The first snow in Romania caused problems on the country's roads, local media reported. In the Brasov district, several trucks and a car were blocked due to accumulated snow and the lack of chains or winter tires. The situation was similar in Suceava in the northern part of Romania.
There were also traffic problems in Bihor and Braila districts, where strong winds brought down trees on roadways. All Black Sea ports of Romania are closed due to strong winds.
Meanwhile, the Romanian National Meteorological Administration has issued a red code for wind and rain in Constanta. Several areas there are already flooded, reported Digi24.
Snow cover accumulated in the regions of Alba, Baku, Gorzh, Harghita, Iasi, Neamt, Suceava and Vaslui. In Buzau region, on the border with Vranca, the snow cover exceeded 10 centimeters.
Some 2,400 residents in four populated areas of Vaslui region were left without electricity due to a blizzard.
