site.btaBulgarian State Agency Road Safety Joins Forum of European Road Safety Research Institutes

The Bulgarian State Road Safety Agency (SARS) became a member of the Forum of European Road Safety Research Institutes (FERSI), the Agency said in a press release on Friday.

The activities of all FERSI members include research and recommendations to improve road safety at government level. FERSI analyzes developments in road safety, proposes solutions to be enshrined in the legislation of the respective countries, provides guidance and evaluates the implementation of the solutions.

SARS joining FERSI will give Bulgaria the opportunity to learn from the experiences of the members of the organizations, learning best practices to improve road safety. Together with the academic community in Bulgaria, SARS will engage in knowledge sharing and seek opportunities for collaborative research in the field of road safety.
