site.btaNo Official Information about Dead or Injured Bulgarians in Construction Site Incident in Hamburg

The Bulgarian Embassy in Berlin has not received official information from the German authorities about dead or injured Bulgarians in a construction incident in Hamburg on Monday, the Foreign Ministry said.  

Following media reports that the workers who died are Bulgarians, the embassy immediately got in touch with the police and the labour authorities in Hamburg. According to their information, the investigation is still ongoing and at this stage there is no concrete information about their identity and nationality. 

On Monday five workers were killed in an incident at a major construction site in the city of Hamburg and several others were missing after scaffolding collapsed.
