site.btaAcademy of Sciences to Represent Bulgaria in GEANT Association

Bulgaria will be represented in the GEANT Association by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), according to a decision adopted by the Council of Ministers on Wednesday.

The GEANT Association manages the largest and technologically most advanced digital and communications network infrastructure in education and science with over 50 million users in over 10,000 organizations across Europe.

The BAS has so far supported Bulgaria's participation in this key European initiative by maintaining the GEANT equipment on its territory.
