April 21 (BTA) - The Sr. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia has been included in yet another prestigious world university ranking, the higher educational establishment said.

The Impact Rankings 2021 of the Times Higher Education published on Wednesday rank Sofia University 601-800th of 1,115 universities in the world.

The rating assesses university achievements in fulfilling UN sustainable development goals. Sofia University is ranked in eight of those: good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, accessible and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, sustainable cities and communities, action related to climate change and partnerships for the goals.

The methodology applied for the ranking uses tested indicators providing comparison of four large fields: research, resource management, scope and teaching.

Sofia is ranked 601-800th for good health and well-being and partnership for the goals, 401-600th for quality education, 301-400th for gender equality, accessible and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, and sustainable cities and communities, and 201-300th for action related to climate change./RI/BR
