site.btaBulgaria's General Government Debt at 25% of GDP in 2020

Sofia, April 22 (BTA) - Bulgaria's Government Debt for 2020 is
29,703 million leva or 25.0 per cent of GDP, show preliminary
data of the National Statistical Institute, reported here
Thursday.

The General Government Institutional Sector reported in 2020 a
deficit of 4,056 million leva, or 3.4 per cent of GDP. The
deficit in the Central Government sub-sector amounted 4,551
million leva, or 3.8 per cent of GDP.

The Local Government sub-sector reported a surplus of 330
million leva, and the sub-sector Social Security Funds reported
a surplus of 165 million leva. RY/MY
