site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 466 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 6,58%

May 2 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria reached 404,846, after 7,086 tests identified 466 new
infections in the past 24 hours,, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
6.58 per cent.

The active cases are 48,513. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 6,790, including 670 in intensive care.

Another 355 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 339,889.

A total of 45 fatalities were reported, and the death toll now
adds up to 16,444.

With 5,755 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 821,218
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
