site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 348 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 10.8%

May 3 (BTA) - The test positivity rate on Sunday was 10.8
 per cent after 348 new cases were confirmed through 3,194
tests, show data posted on coronavirus.bg on Monday.

The most confirmed cases, 51, were reported in Sofia, followed
by Varna with 56.

A total of 405,194 COVID-19 cases have been registered in
Bulgaria since the onset of the pandemic, of which 48,260 are
active.

A total of 6,754 people were in hospital on Sunday, including
662 in intensive care.

With 553 recoveries on Sunday, the total now stands at 340,442.

The reported deaths were 48, bringing the total since the start
of the pandemic to 16,492.

A total of 824,623 COVID vaccine doses have been administered so
 far, of which 3,405 on  Sunday. So far 216,195 people have
