site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 93 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 0.65%

June 24 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
 Bulgaria reached 421,339, after 14,382 tests identified 93 new
infections on Wednesday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
0.65 per cent.

Sofia tops the list of new cases with 39 positive tests,
followed by Plovdiv with 9 cases and Sofia Region with 7.

The active cases are 9,456. Currently, the hospitalized patients
 number 1,613, including 201 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 13,437.

Another 234 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 393,870.

Five fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to
 18,013.

With 13,903 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 1,695,298
persons in aggregate have received a coronavirus vaccination so
far, including 767,723 who are fully vaccinated.
