Sofia, July 8 (BTA) - "The priorities of the Slovenian
Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the goals of
the Three Seas Initiative complement each other and work for a
strong and united Europe," President Rumen Radev said during a
meeting with his counterpart, Borut Pahor of Slovenia, at the
Presidency on Thursday, the presidential press office said.
Pahor is in Sofia for the Sixth annual Summit of the Three Seas
Initiative (3SI).

In the course of the meeting, Radev underscored Slovenia's
contribution to the development of 3SI while it hosted the
Initiative in 2019. "Three Seas enjoys exceedingly valuable
partnerships, attracts interest globally and has become
established as a platform for overcoming economic and social
differences in Europe. Now the Initiative faces the challenge to
mobilize investments from private business and continue to
implement projects of high value added," Radev said.

The Bulgarian President wished success to the Slovenian
Presidency of the Council of the EU, which the country took over
in the beginning of July this year. /NV/BR
